12 1/2 Days Left

Tonight our team gathered for one last group meeting before our parents meeting and heading out to Nashville. The team spent time in Family Groups tonight, continuing to process together what we will be experiencing in our time in Nashville. Pastor Weston taught some about what a prayer walk looks like and the group wandered around HCC doing our own prayer walks. Prayer walks might be something that some of our group will be doing through the streets in Nashville so we thought we would practice first! It's hard to believe that this is the last time just our group will be together before we actually depart on this adventure. It is coming up so fast and we are getting more excited as each day passes.

This morning the Kent Campus students and leaders were commissioned in both services at our Kent campus. Next Sunday, March 30th, the Renton Campus students and leaders will be commissioned in both the 9:30 and 11:10 services. We are so thankful for a church that understands the power of prayer and will be standing beside us the whole time we are gone. Thank you, Jesus!

Next Sunday we will also be having our Parents Meeting from 1:00-2:00. If you are a parent of a student on this trip, we invite you to join us for some last minute packing instructions, final trip details, question and answer time and some time spent in prayer. Please make this a priority if you are a parent of a student.

This weeks prayer requests: 

- Pray for our students and leaders as they are in final preparations for heading out. 

- Pray for Pastor Aaron and the launch team as they prepare for our arrival. For host homes to be prepared, for projects to be ready to go and for a full but blessed week of ministry. 

- Prayers for UNITY...amongst our own team and as we come alongside the launch team. That the Body of Christ will be united, as together, we serve the families in Nashville.
